HWA was engaged to design the new Levin-Waitarere Surf Lifesaving Club in collaboration with Homestead Construction through a design/build partnership. Our approach, which emerged as the winning entry in a competitive design process, carefully considered the club’s operational needs, its role in the community, and its sensitive coastal setting.

The completed building delivers a functional, durable, and welcoming environment for surf lifesaving activities. Thoughtfully designed to meet both current and future needs, it was delivered on time and on budget, and has been well received by the community for its thoughtful integration into the foreshore.
